When purchasing, it is particularly important to have a real estate agent who is highly available and willing to get you all of the information necessary to make an informed decision. Whether you are a first-time home buyer, or a seasoned home buyer looking to move into a new life chapter, I can take the stress out of the experience and leave you with a smile! I encourage my clients to explore many properties. During this process I remain highly available so that we can tour homes as soon as they appear on the market. I specialize in energy efficient and green home features (i.e. LED lighting, energy efficient appliances, PV Solar Arrays, geothermal systems, LEED and other green building certifications, smart-home technology, etc.). I understand the value of energy efficient features and have a network of professionals who specialize in these technologies.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® GREEN DESIGNATION

My passion is resource-efficiency and sustainability! Homes which consume less resources will keep more money in your pocket every month. The intensive coursework required for attaining this designation means I have the skills to recognize and understand these features. Older homes can be retrofitted with new technology and could be certified with an Energy Star(r) rating or other certifications, These valuable attributes may make a Green (aka Sustainable) home worth more, sell quicker, and are both more comfortable and healthier to live in. Marketing Green features when you are selling requires an agent educated and knowledgeable in the added value and benefits. A buyer looking for Green features should have someone who understands the technology as well as the available financing options. The sale of a Green home can differ from that of a conventional sale. Energy efficient, Sustainable, and Green home features are in demand and I specialize in this type of real estate transaction.

Selling your home requires a Real Estate Agent who can determine an accurate listing price, pursue an appropriate marketing campaign, and has the skills to negotiate with potential buyers. Highlighting a home’s Green, energy efficient, and high-performing features is my specialty since I know their value. Having assisted numerous buyers with lengthy home searches and experienced the bidding process on many properties, I can suggest preparations that you may not have considered prior to listing for a smooth sale process. MARKET VALUE EVALUATIONS

If you are thinking about selling your home and would like to know its estimated value, I will get you the information you need to make an informed selling decision. My valuations include three price points, one based on the current or “as-is” condition of the property, a price with low-cost changes and/or repairs, and a higher valuation if more extensive changes/repairs are considered.
